Chiropractic for DVA Members

We are proud inform you that our chiropractors are available to provide services for Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) card holders. While other chiropractic clinics don’t provide these services, at Aim 4 Health Chiropractic & Wellness Centre, we are available to those who qualify for chiropractic care. Certain card holders do not require a referral from their GP, yet we will explain the process below to those seeking chiropractic treatment.

Getting started

If you hold a DVA card we do recommend visiting your GP and obtaining a referral for chiropractic care. While a referral is not required for all DVA memberships (gold card holders), we do suggest informing your GP of your musculoskeletal issues and if chiropractic would be helpful. They will organise a referral to our clinic to see one of our chiropractors which will be active for 12 months post completion. Please bring this referral to your chiropractic appointment and you may apply for future chiropractic care every 12 months after the current referral period expires.

Am I fully covered?

Yes! All patients who qualify for chiropractic care will not be charged at Aim 4 Health Chiropractic & Wellness Centre. While there can be a limit on the number of treatments, we will speak directly with the DVA in terms of payment for your chiropractic care. If more treatment is required, we will also organise this for you.

Musculoskeletal conditions and Injuries

While there are a number of musculoskeletal conditions or injuries which may require chiropractic care, the most common reasons for DVA patients seeking chiropractic assistance are for:

    • Neck, upper and lower back pain
    • Pain in the spine (joint, disc, arthritis, muscular)
    • Joint stiffness or arthritic pain
    • Shoulder pain (rotator cuff injury, bursitis, arthritis)
    • Hip pain (muscular, bursitis, arthritis)
    • Accidents and falls
